Hi,
I am chatting to my Tasmanian mate today to wish him well but thought that I would ask him to organise a wilderness trip in February. Diego, we spoke about this the other evening.
Rob is a true adventurer and knows Tasmania well – he lives there and regularly takes expeditions into the wild. He's a young bloke but has already racked up around 25 visits to Antarctica, was the youngest Aussie to ski to the North Pole (with a broken wrist no less) etc etc. He's a good mate too.
I was thinking of letting him lead us on an adventure to South West Tasmania – some of the roughest and most remote terrain in the world. This will be full on I imagine and not at all for large groups. I suspect that we will need to kayak, climb and heavens only knows what else.
Can you let me know if you are keen and I will ask him to start to plan something. I have chosen Feb as it is neither too warm or too cold – mind you it is Tasmania so we can expect full blown winter one minute and summer the next.
I have no idea of cost but it won't be too bad. Provisions, getting there and his time – that's it.
Cheers,
Mark

Now that´s what I´d call adventure.
